And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us. (Romans 5:5)
During this holiday season, there are many that have experienced the loss of a loved one or the distance from family and friends. This brings on feelings of depression and the lack of hope. Jesus lets us know that He is always with us and especially when we are feeling alone. He offers hope. He wraps His loving arms around us and lets us know that we are loved. Call on His name and He will be there. He abides in us. He was born to give us hope, to give us salvation, to bring to us the Holy Spirit. I thank the Lord above for sending His son to us. Thank you for the grace, the love and the hope. Be aware of those around you that may need to know this hope, especially during the Christmas season. Is there a better time to introduce them to hope?
